Ausgrid maintains safe clearances between trees and its electricity network to keep the power supply safe and reliable.

Overhead electrical wires over the road reserve will be clearance pruned each 12 months at no cost to the property owner.

The clearance pruning of private overhead electrical wires (service wires) can only be carried out by approved and accredited Ausgrid Contractors at the full expense of the property owner.  Such requests should be made directly to Ausgrid’s Vegetation Officer.
