After careful consideration, Council at its extraordinary meeting on Tuesday 28 February resolved to apply to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal for a Special Rate Variation with increases over 4 years.

The application to IPART was submitted on 3 March 2023.

IPART is currently undertaking community consultation with submissions closing 5 May 2023.  Council encourages ratepayers/residents to make a submission to IPART by visiting their website. 

Please note, Council’s community engagement period ended 31 January. Submissions and comments can be submitted to IPART until 5 May 2023.
